We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager from the IT industry who would be interested in putting their background to use in the tropical, tax-free Cayman Islands!
The successful candidate will join an industry leader in Grand Cayman. Leveraging strong industry partnerships, our client offers a full range of business-enabling technology and professional services with a focus on Client/Server Computing, IP Networking, VoIP telephony, Security and Storage/High Availability Solutions.
This individual will work as a member of the Account Management/Business Development team and will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Management and growth of existing client accounts in a variety of verticals including financial services, legal, insurance, health care, government etc.
- New business development and acquisition of competitive accounts
- Calling on and meeting with clients including senior level management to propose IT solutions and professional services.
- Liaising with the professional services group to ensure customer satisfaction.
Solutions offered include (but are not limited to) Servers and Storage equipment from leading manufacturers, Infrastructure, Networking, Networked PCs, Printers, Security, IP telephony, Software and related Professional Services (design, implementation, support, consulting services).
Requirements:
- 3-5 years (minimum) of demonstrable success in an IT Account Management role, ideally in a VAR environment.
- Proven track record of working with senior management clients, particularly in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies from a sales perspective
- Post secondary education in a relevant field preferred
- Industry training and/or vendor certifications would be a strong asset.
- The flexibility and adaptability to make an international move to the Cayman Islands.
Compensation will consist of a competitive and TAX-FREE base salary plus commission plan! Relocation assistance, temporary housing, relevant work permits and full health benefits will also be offered to the successful candidate.
This unique opportunity involves a long-term relocation (2-3 yr initial term) to the beautiful Cayman Islands, which are known internationally for their high standard of living, ideal climate and world class scuba diving. Due to the international move required, highly adaptable and mobile individuals are sought.
