Internet Company seek talented developer (SoHo)

Baltimore and New York-based Internet Media Company is seeking a deadline driven middle-level/senior programmer for full time development on a new website. The programmer would be responsible for developing an end-to-end website and must be well rounded in all aspects of web development. Wages will based on contractual agreement.
Must possess working knowledge of the following technologies:
? PHP
? mySQL
? HTML
? Javascript
? CSS
? Ruby on Rails
? CVS
? Hosting
? Capacity/Resource management
? Information architecture
? Security
The programmer must be able to collaborate with designer on technical feasibility of features. Must be able to implement designs that are provided in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files, hence experience using the Adbobe suite in web development is critical.
Experience adopting the following open source software is a huge plus
? Google Maps
? WordPress
? BuddyPress
We follow an Agile method to software development ? small pieces, fast turnaround and expect regular communication between the developer and designer. Flexibility with new tools and open source is important, hence you must have a willingness to self-learn.
The preference is for Baltimore area and New York based developers however telecommuting is an option. Weekly face-to-face meetings occur in the evenings.
Your talents are more important to us than your education. A creative mind with a passion to think outside of the box is a must! We are looking for a collaborator, not just a pure developer.
